Live in the Ghetto!

  • Mayor Rahm Emanuel Wednesday proposed using $3 million in city money to encourage 100 police officers, firefighters and paramedics to buy homes on the South and West sides of the city.

The program — which would allow public safety officers to purchase single-family or two-flat homes in Auburn Gresham, Austin, Brighton Park, Chatham, East Garfield Park, Englewood, Gage Park, Greater Grand Crossing, Humboldt Park, New City, North Lawndale, South Lawndale, West Englewood and West Garfield Park — is designed to increase public safety and support continued economic development, according to a statement from the mayor's office.
Does this program include 8-foot fences, topped with barbed wire, pressure activated mines, sandbag emplacements, crew-served weaponry, steel windows, doors and gunports? Not interested.

Wait, this is a 10-year "forgivable" loan?

We'll just hold out for the County offer - free homes:
  • Free homes would be given to teachers, police officers and firefighters under a new proposal introduced by Cook County Board Commissioner Richard Boykin if they commit to work — and live — in what he calls “endangered communities.”
How about in exchange for a fully funded pension?

Just goes to show what 80* years of demorat rule can do to people and neighborhoods. And now the County and City want the employees to fix what gov has sowed.

Remember what happened to the Officer who lived at Kedzie and Roosevelt. He was constantly complaining about load music, drug use, drug selling, gun shots. What finally happen was the day came where he took Police action with a man with a gun. He shot the woman in the crowd who was unarmed and a thug supporter. Well let me just say the Police Officer lost everything in the end; his job, home, money and I'm sure years off his life. That was around 8 years ago.

You must really be under water to subject yourself and family to this.

Work hard, make a good living, raise your family and retire else where. I wish we could all make it to retirement but there will be some casualties of the war on crime. It's all about choices.

"Officer Next Door" program from the 1990's...

Yeah... The non-contributing, hard-head,
death-worshipping, porch-jumping m/fers who
makes the skeleton face at you when you leave
out to go to work, are doing the same when you
come home later in the day.

Rahm had this shit played up to take the
edge off the news about the Pittsburgh
Coppers prevailing in court regarding
their residency fight.

Compelled Public Safety residency requirements
are de facto indentured servitude in this day
and age of Policemen, their families and their
property being targeted.

You know... Like when #blm was trolling
Mt. Greenwood when shit-head got lit the
fuck up in January after brandishing a
pistol on 111th St.?

The Police are racist solely because they
desire to put distance between themselves
and the savage m/fers they have to deal with daily?

Chicago is such an entertaining place. The "police are the problem" and that's why the ghetto 'folks" kill each others. But to solve the problem of "folks" killing each other, the solution is to move police officers ( the problem) into the "community" to act as role models for the folks. Does this make sense?

All of Chicago is now routinely visited by the ghetto and all the crime and mayhem that it brings. Most Chicagoans do not begin to realize how badly rahm has completely and irreversibly destroyed the ability of the Chicago Police Department from doing anything meaningful about this tidal wave of crime. rahm is not a Chicagoan. He was not raised or educated here. He can't tell you what it was like to grow up in a Chicago school or play in the parks or neighborhoods as a child, because he grew up in the North Shore - a few minutes north of the city but a world apart. His residence is a prop that has 24/7/365 security and he doesn't care if it loses property value, because he is a "public servant" who happened to become a multi-millionaire in the process. Those of us that have worked the ghetto for decades, have sacrificed to pay for private schools for our children, because we wanted better for them than what our high taxes provide at CPS now have to watch Our city and department crumble because of rahm and the rest of the democratic and political corruption of this city, county and state. Very Sad.

Why is it that school teachers, TV talking heads and politicians all say diversity is our strength, and then try to pay people to live in diversified neighborhoods? Don't recall and don't remember reading about anything like this when the neighborhoods were filled with Italians, Germans, Pollocks, or any other European immigrants. Schools weren't "bad" either.

Keep voting for those damn liberal democrats and when they have total control, they won't be offering you a place to live, they'll tell you where to live. Like it or not!

A lot of time and energy would be saved if they just focused on lifting the residency requirement. Instead of attempts to "pay off" officers by forcing them to live in dangerous areas in the city, maybe it would be best to reinvest that $3 million (where it's coming from, I have no idea...) in the police pension fund. Chicago's police are not supported in the least where the mayor is concerned and it's disgusting to live here.

Those neighborhoods aren't shitholes because of a lack of cops, teachers, or fire fighters living there - it's because they're overrun with jagoff gang bangers, junkies, and "I didn see nuffin'" family members.

Men who have 13 kids with 10 different women, then go off to make some more - while baby mama gets her nails done, collects on da welfare, and generally lets the streets raise her kids.

There's no morality, no accountability, no consequences for anything - and that's how they like it. They've had 60 years of "Programs" funded by hard working taxpayers - and they have squat to show for it.

To fix the problem will require some stones - put and keep criminals in prison for long stretches. Hard stops for welfare. Graduate from high school or NO welfare of any kind. And more.... but alas, that won't get the Springfield or Chiraqi brain trust elected, so it's never gonna happen...

Stay safe - tell them to fuck off with this program, and put the $3M into the pension fund.

For 3 Straight Years an exodus in the population of Chicago has gone from a trickle to a raging flood. Apologists from the newly created "TEABAG PARTY" like Ald's John Arena,Ray Lopez and their new mouthpiece Mark Brown will play the race card and lack of affordable housing. It has 0 to do with RACE and everything to do with personnel responsibility. My block in 016 has 5 languages spoken by my brothers and sisters of multiple colors AND sexual orientations. Our food spreads and bad dancing at our block parties are legendary. We have celebrated births together and mourned deaths as ONE.The common thread isn't racism but personnel responsibility. I recently saw a Ch 9 hit piece in which a M/1 from Englewood living with 2 small children in his parents home was bemoaning his situation. Maybe just maybe, if he took personnel responsibility and waited until he had a steady job before making babies TWICE he could afford to live here instead of becoming a burden to his parents and the taxpayers. Our melting pot that is our block and most stable blocks in this city would agree. Putting lipstick on the pig that is the 5150 Northwest Hwy housing project being forced on the good people of all colors in 016 will force more people to make the hard decision and sell and leave their extended family to protect the family are struggling to raise. This "TEABAG PARTY" and it's unwanted ballsack on the chins of taxpayers had better be very careful the good people are furious.

To the Mayor, you are one of the biggest blow-jobs, so look in the mirror and try to figure out why good people, their businesses, and families are fleeing. Hey Mayor, who's going to pay for your Welfare, Sanctuary City Fund, and Alder-Fuck Heads packing in Section-8 Criminal Housing in decent neighborhoods. Do the math, your entire tax base is leaving, what are you going to replace it with, illegals, parole's, people on food stamps, or taxing drug dealers.

Right, so you then have the ghetto rats at your door morning and night asking for your intervention. Otherwise, how does your living there make the community safer? Use it for free as your city address, let the city pay for it, rarely go there, and never answer the damn door. And by all means, never bring your family. Might work. In 10 years, hopefully near retirement, if it's still standing, you have a Section 8 rental income stream with no mortgage cost.

I remember going to visit my grandparents when they lived around 4700 W Monroe back in the 60s, loved going down there to visit. They lived about mid block and when you looked west you could see the Sky-Hi Drive In restaurant, which was housed in an old DC-6 plane that was situated pointing east. Looked like it could do a takeoff roll down Monroe.

Now, you couldn't pay me enough to simply drive through that neighborhood at high speed. It's a shame, because that was a really nice neighborhood.

The city claims its population is shrinking (more on that below)? Empty ghetto houses piling up?
Here's an idea, give incentives to proponents of 5150 W. Northwest Highway Section 8 Project.

Another Rahm pandering scam.
Maybe 20 really desperate PO's will take up the offer.
And then $2.7 million will be leftover for Rahm's Illegal Sanctuary Fund.
The vinyl sided shitboxes that were offered up in 010 a few years back are pock marked with bulletholes.
The PO that lived in there rode out the obligation, only coming out in worse financial shape than when they came in with.
Getting followed home, burglarized and overall general thug gauntlets on a Sunday morning church are not worth a free crib.
But the streets are paved, the street lights and hydrants are on all day, as they say in the Le Jardin du Maghreb, Paris...très bien !

Here's an little bit on the story of the Annual Great Chicago Population Decline :
Chicago Claims: 2,700,000 inhabitants
Total Inhabitants at Voting Age of 18 (67%): 1,809,000
Total Chicago Presidential Votes cast: 1,023,000
Total Chicago 2015 Mayoral Votes cast: 674,000
Mysteriously Registered Chicago Voters: 1,400,000

Based on the Presidential totals that leaves only 890,000 folks under 18 in the Census -1 chittlin per Voter Household.
Based on Mayoral totals it leaves 1,100,000 folks under 18 not eligible to vote or +1 chittlin per voter household.

Something ain't right.

Think about the accounting aspect.
Subtract your real estate and school taxes,
and you're working for that much less, locked in.
And in a way, they count on the occasional "off
duty" Good Samaritan" contribution of employees
dispersed around the city. The residency requirement
actually improves the chances you will never collect
retirement, because stress is cumulative (both job and
environmental). It's cheaper to cut a one-time death
benefit check than to pay out over 20, 25, 30 years.
Think of Rahm as the Hyman Roth of the operation.
You will die off and he will still be giving interviews stating

Someday, Garbage trucks will come to reap the exploding excess criminal population, and process them as food if the mayor and his lackeys have their way. That's all they would be good for....feeding the other near do wells.

As soon as they realize that the people they pander to, do not pay taxes, things can begin to return...but the Apocalypse may come first!

FREE HOMES to the Elected Officials who Buy and Live in Endangered Communities

See how many Elected Officials take up that Offer

Only Mayor Jane Byrne moved into the Projects
9.5 fingers won't move to an Endangered Community house
Maybe Lt NF will more into this Endangered Community house?

Maybe Forget It. Thank You

Thr casual non-duty presence of "cop in the hood " may deter the less serious criminal opportunist punks for a while - until they are targeted for intimidation and the ultimate take-down ... when the community turns a blind eye- no amount of resident cops in the hood will have any influence !

Why doesn't the mayor step up and move there, send his kids to the schools he says are so great. Well Rahm?

Hey Rahm, talking shit don't mean shit. How bout YOU move your sad white ass and your family into the same damned ghetto you "Think" a PO, Firefighter or other city employee should move to. While your at it how bout you send your kids to the "Wonderful" ShitCongo Public School System you're always bragging about. No I couldn't wish that upon your family, BUT, I'd sure as shit like to see YOU move in to one of those "low cost" properties. Oh, and no security detail either, just the same protection any citizen would have.

You "Old Timers" remember when Mayor Jane Byrne moved into Cabrini? The apartment she move into was "completely" painted, fumigated and "sterilized. Also the apartments on either side, above and below were staffed with CPD 24/7.
