Totals for Half a Weekend

  • The two shot on Ridgeway were among at least 14 people shot since Friday afternoon, two of whom died. A third person was killed in Chicago since yesterday afternoon – a 75-year-old man was found dead with head trauma inside his home about 9:50 p.m. in the 5600 block of South Racine Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood.
And this doesn't even count the ones in the papers since Saturday afternoon, of which there were at least another three we heard of while watching the lamest Air & Water Show in recent memory.

Bang Cha-Ching...

It's 00:23 hrs and in the last hour.

One shot 6000 N. Sacramento.

Two shot in 15

Two shot in 5

Three shot in the 10th.

One shot in 11.

Looks like we have the single, double and a triple. No home runs?

Not yet anyways but the night is young.

How's that quote go?

" If you're not shooting you should be loading and if you're not loading you should be moving else..."

Ah yes.
August is just rolling along
It's possible that it's ahead of august 2011 already.
Just can't believe tiny and
" lost weekend" can be so "cavalier" about it.
And dismiss the homicides and the crime as
" business as usual"

Without those dreamy military pilots the air and water show was just that---a dud.

I would follow them on the highway to the danger zone anytime.

Houston TX has approximately the same population of Chicago.

There are 50 gun shops in the city limits.

There are 300 stores to buy ammunition in the city limits.

There is no gun registration, they have concealed carry and have open carry also. There are no bans on "assault rifles"

They have about 100 firearm homicides a year.

Compare that to Chicago.....I guess no gun control is the answer.

Look at these news stories they give out more free shit to scumbags and police are cut when with a Charles Bronson (rip) Chuck Kersey type rise?
This city should be kissing our ass for the work we do, with an inempt management structure, short what 3-4,000 officers, rahm and the 50 thieves letting pension fund. Get depleted, dinosaur type junk equipment!

There was an Air Show? Here? Really? At Oshkosh you could walk up to and touch such things as a B-29, two B-17's, 6 B-25's, and my favorite, 24 P-51's! The Air and Water Show 'performers' were the C-List at Oshkosh!
All Rahm could find was Spanky the Water Skiing Squirrel, Lamo-Lamo, and the NewsBunny1 Helicopter. But Obama's dog got two V-22 Osprey's to go to Marthas Vinyard.

Thank a Democrat peasant

Lamest Air Show indeed.

Let's see. Obummer goes to Africa with the family. Total tab is $100 MILLION dollars.

The Doofus-In-Chief gets to Africa, decides Africa does not have enough electricity, and gives away $8 BILLION of US Taxpayer money. Sorry to hear Africa is so short on electricity. But does the Annointed One have any clue how hard we have to work for those tax dollars? Of course, not because he's never had a real job in his life.

But jets for the Air Show??? Oh, no, we can't do THAT. Jet fuel, military, testosterone. Why the whole thing just seems so Republican!

Africa is a continent. Which African nations received some of the $8 billion dollars?
