They say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" - constant reminders of and references to shit like this ranks right up there. Quit reminding people how "poor lil Herbie got the short end of the stick" lest some liberal assholes reward him again.

Ignore him and let him go away already while we all anxiously await the "Dillas" next brush with the law. You know as well as I do that it's just a matter of time before we hear of this jagoffs next criminal exploit.

Ummm...it's 15 minutes of fame, ya goof.

To NYPD: it's a tax that the City imposes on everyone who lives here and ownes a vehicle. It only entitles the City to give anyone doesn't have one a $125 ticket. It serves absolutely no other purpose. Legal robbery.

It entitles us to absolutely nothing! If you want to park in your own neighborhood you have to purchase a separate sticker for "residential Parking" which should be covered in you "City Sticker" Just another way to squeeze money out of the working class that foots the bill for shitheads like little gang-banging Herbie!
It's a city version of the State vehicle registration. Originally called the Chicago wheel tax when horse drawn carriages caused ruts in the roads and the tax was for road repair caused by wheeled carriages and wagons. It has since evolved to a vehicle registration for vehicles owned and operated in Chicago by Chicago residents. Depending on your vehicle the price varies, if you own a SUV or pickup truck you're fucked!

Why There Is A Problem

Here, from farther down the page, an immortal quote from Englewood.

"Easter added that gunfire isn’t unusual on their block. “In the summer, the kids run up and down here shooting,” he said."

Uh...

Like they were playing ball or something. Same tone.

The word I'm looking for is "abdication."

Babymama is eating and talking on her cell. Babydaddy is nowhere to be found.

The wildly abnormal has become routine, part of daily life.

Revs wearing hard hats, revs burning T-shirts on the church door are merely cashing in on the situation, getting themselves another "Community Development" grant.

The projects rise, the bugs gather. The projects fall, the bugs scatter again.

This has been going on for FIFTY YEARS now.

A city sticker "entitles" us to pay the city an extra $30-$450 a year, just for the privilege of living in this money grubbing, shit hole. Add that on top of some of the highest sales tax (9.50% in general, 10.75% for dinning out!) in the country .

We get nothing in return. The revenue is supposed to be for street improvements. The majority of Chicago streets are for shit. Patched and repatched, multiple times. Drive down any street (even in some of the most pricey areas) and it's like driving on the surface of the moon!

Every vehicle registered to an address in Chicago has to have a sticker, or you get a ticket. Motorcycles and seniors are on the low end. Large trucks used for businesses get shafted. A few years ago, they even started charging for larger passenger vehicles (your Cadillac Escalades, Chevy Suburbans, Nissan Armadas). Then this year, they tried to go strictly by weight, but someone with a bit of common sense pointed out that a lot of mid-sized vehicle weigh as much as some of the large SUVs . So they left it alone...for now.

Hope that helps some...When are taking McCarthy back?

Shirts, ties and coats for tac personel. follow up investigations(not a bad idea) and going to houses of gang members all day long to tell them "whats up" and to get intel. Every home of a gang member visited and a form will be completed about the visit, what info was obtained, who they live with etc. Gmac wants tac teams to take on more of a role of detectives. the one baggers, dopws are done. get your ties and pressed shirts out because your now a detective...I guess?? NATO host official: few problems expected for city

April 19, 2012 (CHICAGO) (WLS) --

"With the NATO summit just over a month away, Lori Healey, the executive director of the NATO host committee, addressed the Niagara Foundation, a group that promotes global fellowship.

"Despite plans for protests, she does not expect the summit will create many problems for the city."

http://abclocal.go.com/wls/story?section=news/local&id=8627801

Yeah, tell it to the Niagara Foundation. Nice to have direct communication with the people who live in this city.

What was this woman doing right before this? Helping to scatter the contents of the projects for fifty miles around, for one thing. Dabbling in "real estate," for another.

What else are these people good for?

Thu Jan 07 2010

Lori Healey Overcomes Obstacles, Goes to Work for Developer

By Ramsin Canon

"None of my business who John Buck Co., a "blue chip" property developer, wants to hire to "drum up more public-sector business."

"Lori Healey, formerly a top aide to Mayor Daley, one of the designers of the much-celebrated and adored late 90s early 00s TIF boom, and head of the Chicago 2016 Bid Committee that did so fantastically well, will "start next week as a principal at Chicago-based Buck, where she'll focus on building the firm's pipeline of public sector projects. Government work hasn't suffered as much in the recession as other commercial real estate market sectors.

"Ms. Healey, 50, would seem tailor-made for the job." Indeed.

"Healey of course worked for the city department (Planning and Development) involved with TIF planning, approval, and management, from the late 90s through the turn of the century. As recent investigations have demonstrated, those TIF funds have gone disproportionately to corporate welfare, to the joy and approbation of the Chicagoans for whom Healey ostensibly worked.

"After her work expanding TIFs, but before her gig heading up the non-humiliating public relations undisaster called Chicago 2016*, Healey helped implement the widely-praised [noticed] Plan For Transformation at the CHA.

"At the City, Healey specialized in luring private dollars for development. Now in the private sector, Healey will lure public dollars for her bosses."

http://www.gapersblock.com/mechanics/2010/01/07/lori-healey-overcomes-obstacles-goes-to-work-for-developer/

"Overcomes obstacles?" Would one of those "obstacles" be the fact that she is a "gum-snapping idiot who needs to run a comb through her hair," as one SCC reader described her?

Public/private, private/public, back and forth -- always a warm bed somewhere for these miserable bedbugs.

The sticker entitles you to not receiving a $150 ticket for not buying a sticker. Just another tax that goes up every year that we can do absolutely nothing about except pay it and thank them! Oh and if you are the police and get caught without one of these stickers, you get the added expense of a one day suspension. All's fair in love and war.

Wow...that's actually a great question. it's just a tax. Truth is, it only entitles you to not getting a ticket. If your car is registered in the city and you don't have one you get a ticket. Period. You're going to pay one way or another. As a a teenager, I never could figure out why my friend's parents had 2-3 cars, all with current suburban city stickers. Their tax is about 50%cheaper :)

From what I've experienced, the Witches of Eastwick in the front office; Jillbilly, Olive Oil and the Caboose are the real problem. They have absolutely no respect for any of the hard working officers that were in 023 when they got there. It wasn't a merge, it was a hostile takeover. I can't believe any commander would allow a bunch of gossiping blue shirts get away with this. Next time you want to drop a slip, I suggest you bow down and ask permission from the negative nellies in the front office first.

Why I no longer feel safe on Metro

By Kurtis Hiatt, Published: April 13

“[Expletive] the white man! [Expletive] the white man!”

The man’s yells reverberated through the Metrorail car, breaking the quiet typical of an early-morning ride. I turned down the music on my iPhone. What was that? “[Expletive] the white man!” he screamed again. My fellow Blue Line riders and I looked around uneasily. I couldn’t see the man, but I did note that I seemed to be one of very few white men in the car. Still, I brushed it off. It’s not unusual to encounter crazy behavior while riding Metro. Rarely do things turn serious. As the train arrived at L’Enfant Plaza, I briefly considered switching cars. I didn’t.

Aw come on now. Who is going to get free Cubs tickets and stand and get their picture taken on the field as representative of the CPD? You don't think they would put real police out there for news pictures, do you?

Jillbilly was on the street in a blue/white (by accident I guess) some time ago and got put on a street sgt's log. Sgt asked for a meet to log her and asked her why she was not taking any jobs. "I work for the Commander, if you have a problem, go see him" was her reply to the good sergeant. A real piece of work, eh?

Instead the so called "hardworking officers from 023" find daily excuses not to come in but yet are carried present for a week! And when those "hard working officers do show up they manage to take 2-3 hour lunches. WTF! How did your previous commander allow such a LOOSE RUN STAFF? HOW and WHY did your previous commandaer ALLOW you to get away with this? I suggest if a person wants time due or a day off they just ask the three secretaries from 023 how to have the day off and be carried!

I LOVE this video. It shows how the gangbangers act when we arrest them. They are all tough then cry like Bitches. Then they go to court and the liberals believe them and the get no jail time.

Gang member, just another name for PUSSIES!

Well as of this morning when I walked into work you have seen the last of the tac teams. "tac teams" will still be here but the roles are about to drastically change. look for them to be filled by reverse seniority after the changes take effect after nato. Another new york idea

in 010, tact p.o.'s are telling people they're det.

LOL good call, that reminds me of the video on Worldstar Hip Hop where CPD has a 15 or so year old banger, and drives him to the heart of another gang's hood, parks, opens the back door, and tells him to get out. The other gang is just swarming around the car, taunting him, and the little POS banger is freaking out crying.

They aren't so tough when they're not in numbers

Inarticulate drive-by troll.

You don't even know what "technology" is. A lot of people have hobbies that are far more complex and difficult than whatever is is you do for a living.

Go in the washroom and admire your tongue stud in the mirror, go on plastic smartphone, F___book a while and check catboxcam, omg, lol, then get out here and finish stacking those boxes of stuff from China.

You were late again this morning, by the way.

OT: To the person who keeps writing about all the inside people in 019,

I can understand that you are upset about getting time due denied. However, I think you have some issues about the new crew.

Hysterical!
