Bulls March Toward Championship

We don't know if anyone noticed, but the Bulls are marching toward a championship, probably in June. Coming on the heels of the NATO event, we may see a rather strung out police department by the start of summer.

Does anyone know if that was part of the reasoning behind sending 2nd Watch to NATO? Because this one is going to fall squarely on the shoulders of 3rd watch and 1st.

That is, if they've actually planned anything in advance.

Good. I hope the ghettos go up for grabs like they did for the previous Bulls 'celebrations', particularly the first two.

It may actually give some Hair Gels a war story worth telling a few dozen times, unlike the concocted tale of bravado associated with their latest and greatest dope pinch.

That's if they make it through NATO..

"Planned", you say?

Ha! Now THAT'S funny!

CPD and "planned" in the same sentence.

the bulls are not going to make it to the finals. we should quit assuming that they are. the heat will crush the bulls again. bulls choked last year against them.

Don't think so. That would require thinking outside the box. And you know how McDrunkard doesn't like anyone outside their designated box.

The Bulls choked against the Pistons in 1990 and came back in 1991 to take it all. Its possible, so start getting ready. Either way, summer is on the way so start getting ready!

The Bulls have a strong chance for a Finals appearance with a healthy lineup.

Bulls have some major motivation if they get to face Miami again. Knicks may wear down Miami, opening the door for a well rested Bulls team. Even better if Miami ends up against Celtics again along the way. Either way there is a strong possibility the real police will be walking around ghetto corners breaking bottles and collecting rocks, bricks, etc that can be hurled at us following a clinching game. Don't forget to buy the fire extinguisher size Pepper Spray.

Doubt the Bulls will win. Some other really great teams out there. The Hawks never seemed to have the "fire" to go beyond the season. Cubs and Sox Suck big time. The Bears will be a .500 team if they are lucky. Keep selling out those stadiums folks and this is what you get. Bears, Cubs, and Hawks are SRO for all their games and they give you nothing.

If you start 3rd watch on days to handle the protests, the Department would probably have to pay them time-and-a-half for the entire tour, not just for any overtime accrued. On a side note, it probably isn't a bad idea having crusty veterans on days handling it, as they are less likely to give a rats a-- about it and will be much less responsive to confrontation, taking a mellower, "I don't give a s---" approach, whereas the younger 3rd watch guys might actually still care and become more involved. Who knows. What I do know is that I will be stuck out there, dealing with the throngs of protesters who really, secretely, love the Police but are just too shy to show it.

We can all breath a heavy sigh of relief over riots should the Bulls win the NBA Championship. It ain't gonna happen this year.

Derek Rose blew out his knee and is done for the season.

Tough break for him.

We ducked another bullet! Derrick Rose tore his left ACL during today's game with Philly; we will surely take an ass-stomping by Miami, if we even make it that far.

Well that was premature. They won't make it past the second round now. Sorry Bulls fans, but that punk GD from Englewood just showed how weak he is. Been out for more of the Bulls' wins than losses.

Aren't you the tough guy, spouting off from behind a keyboard. Your idea of exercise most likely involves walking up the stairs from mommy's basement to hoist a can of beer to your big mouth.
