Bulls in Jeopardy

  • Just when Derrick Rose was on the brink of alleviating fears that he would be unable to fully recover from a nagging ankle injury, he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, making an impressive playoff victory seem more like a loss and all but dashing the Bulls’ title hopes.

Rose landed awkwardly after a jump stop and fell to the floor with 80 seconds left in the Bulls’ 103-91 victory over the Philadelpha 76ers in Game 1 of their first-round NBA playoff series at the United Center. The team later announced that Rose had torn his ACL and will miss the rest of the postseason. It’s the sixth injury Rose has suffered this season.
That high pitched squeaking emanation was any number of bosses' sphincters loosening up just a tad. You don't even want to know about the noises coming from City Hall on this one either.

A Nike shoe designer mocked Derrick Rose's season-ending ACL injury on Twitter on Sunday, igniting a firestorm of criticism on the social media website.

Jason Petrie, who designed LeBron James' signature sneakers, tweeted that Rose should have signed with Nike after the Chicago Bulls superstar tore his ACL in the final minutes of Game 1 of Chicago's Eastern Conference quarterfinals series against the Philadelphia 76ers.

"You got one guy only getting stronger, and one guy breaking down before our very eyes. You chose poorly Pooh... #shouldasignedwithNIKE #GWS," Petrie wrote, referring also to James and Heat's 33-point Game 1 victory over the New York Knicks.

Rose signed long-term deal with rival shoemaker adidas in February.

Petrie's comments drew enough outrage that Petrie tried to assuage his followers, tweeting: "Y'all take sh#t too serious! Never want to see anyone get hurt- I hope DRose comes back stronger than ever, he's too good..."

I ain't bullshitting when I say this: Derrick Rose isn't injured. Rahm put the word out that they'll be no chance of rioting in June. Hence, with Rose out of the picture, there won't be a deep run in the playoffs.

To address the 10:37am, comment "Rose is as far as you can get from gang banging". Wake up, when hardcore Gangster Disciples are driving your Bentley around Englewood, YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT. My guess is within 6 months an "incident" involving guns or gang banging will occur and he'll be neck deep in it. To me he is no different than the idiots shooting each other. Please tell me you're not a cop, if you are, stay away from me in May you moron.

Some of the reasons high school basketball players is to learn to play basketball at a higher intensity level than they played in high school.

It is also to give their bodies some time to strengthen up for the rigors of NBA basketball. Rose, by coming out of college after only one year of college may not be strong enough for the NBA. Maybe he should have stayed in college, bulked up before he went pro.

They also supposedly go to college to get an education....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..yeah right.
