NOT an Accident

  • A 16-year-old boy was critically wounded this afternoon on the South Side when a handgun accidentally fired and the bullet struck him, police said.

The teen was wounded about 3:50 p.m. in the 0-100 block of West 71st Street, according to a news release from Chicago police.

The boy was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in critical condition for a gunshot wound to the lower left abdomen.

Police didn't say whether the teen was handling the weapon when it fired. Wentworth Area detectives were investigating the shooting.
Guns are fairly simple machines that require very specific steps to place them into a position that enables them to be fired. An ignorant person or persons mishandling a weapon that results in the gun functioning as designed is not an accident. We've met children as young as seven who are more capable and qualified to handle firearms than certain adults in their forties. We've even raised a few.

Guns and knives are known to just jump up on their own and do injury to people. This is common knowledge with the media. Nothing to see here.

Shameless pieces of communist shit.

Guaranteed this asshole was "holstering" said pistol in his waistband, finger still on the trigger, when it "accidentally" went ka-boom.

"Police didn't say whether the teen was handling the weapon when it fired" means:

THE TEEN WAS HANDLING THE WEAPON WHEN IT FIRED.

But the anti-gun, Daley-mandated MSM gag order says the Sheeple will be reported to otherwise.

In addition to the glaring facts I already mentioned, here's a few after-the-fact Freebies from me to the handjobs that comprise the Crystal Ball Unit. Consider the following educated assumptions, and then prove me wrong:

1) The critically wounded teen is black

2) The pistol is either a .380 or 9mm

3) The pistol is either a Lorcin or Hi-Point

4) Mama "din't know nuffin' 'bout no pistol up in da house"

5) Junior has at least one prior UUW pinch

Now go throw all of this into your stupid fucking computer programs and see what you can cook-up in regards to where the epicenter and aftershocks of the impending Bulls riots will be - championship or no championship.

We teach safe sex in school why is a mandatory firearm safety seminar at the grade school level out of the question?

You know the line right: "if it saves just one life..."

Anyone?

He brought the gun to a friend's home stating he wanted to do a lick. When the friend ordered him out of the house he refused to leave. The friend attempted to remove him and the weapon out of the home and it discharged into the would be robbers belly. I am guessing after his surgery and recovery he will not have learned a damn thing.

How can a gun, an inanimate object, fire itself? Maybe, just maybe, it transformed into an animated object and fired. Or, whoever wrote the newspaper story needs to enroll in the writing course.

The name of the person whose gun accidently fired would have been included on the list of FOID holders and his card would been revoked. The FOID system works. (smile) For the sake of the children, please do not get rid of that useful, crime fighting people registration program.

Sad the way the handguns are out of control in this town. Packs of wandering Glocks and Rugers roaming the streets on their little steel centipede legs, discharging at random passers-by.

Raised two sons with six guns in the house. Had many of their friends over for parties and visits. Not one problem in twenty years with our weapons that were not locked or unloaded. (Why, they are there for the safety and security of our family and guests.)
Gee, what did I do right?????
Have to laugh when you hear about a "toddler" who "was playing with a revolver" and accidentally shot his brother in the head. Strong hands huh.

Slightly Off Topic...

Speaking of "not an accident," coppers run over a shit head at 58th & Morgan following an armed robbery.

It looks like proceeds, a weapon and some shitty drawers recovered...

Shit head was sporting two shiners and an "Englewood Turban" in bond court. Judge Bourgeois set bond for that slightly flattened ass-clown at $250k.

That there is that old school Policing! Glad the coppers are OK.

There will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth about them pancaking an armed offender though.

Not a hair on their heads should be touched for this...

Especially given the current climate of "Police are the enemy."

I was raised in a house with a gun. It was on a pantry shelf, loaded, and it was shown to me when I was five. I was told where it was and I was impressed with the fact that it was a weapon that could, and would, kill, and I was not to touch it.
Once, I took a chair and peered over the shelf edge at the gun. I didn't even consider touching it.
When I was about twelve, Dad took me to Wisconsin, and taught me to shoot it. We shot at cans and I saw how torn to shreds a coffee can could be, and Dad reminded me this was what a bullet can do to someone's body. Never felt tempted to test the theory.
Maybe the difference between me and those 'gun accident' kids is that I was taught a gun was not a toy. I was taught responsibility and I was taught the repercussions of one's actions. I had parents who PARENTED.

Maybe gun handling instructions should go on chip bags and pop bottles or cans.....Keep finger off trigger until ready to shoot....
Point muzzle in safe direction at all times.....

That address doesn't have any residential buildings, which would mean he was out on the street with that gun. Interesting.
