Even the Dead Hate Daley

Here are some deceased voters who may not be voting democratic anymore:
  • Those buried in St. Johannes Cemetery can rest in peace, for now.

A state appellate court granted a temporary restraining order Thursday night, stopping the City of Chicago from relocating any more graves from the historic cemetery that borders O'Hare International Airport.

[...] The City had removed approximately 20 graves so far to make way for a new airport runway. The court order, however, bars any further disinterment even if the city has already received permission from next of kin.

We're sure Shortshanks had the initial 20 moved to a predominately democratic cemetery in order to make sure their new found independent voting tendencies were nipped in the bud. The zombie vote is rumored to be up for grabs this next election. We are amused that even the dead of St. Johannes are causing Shortshanks pain and embarrassment.

NOOOO!! We musn't keep Daley's contractor friends waiting!

Now that he's failed to milk the city dry via the Olympics, he's got to concentrate on other kicback-producing revenue streams.

So what if the airlines say O'Hare doesn't need these new runways due to fewer flights and the increased landing fees that may cause OTHER nearby cities to be their new hubs.

These bodies must be moved NOW! Someday ALL of Bensenville (and Park Ridge, and Itasca and Elk Grove Village, etc.) will be runway!

Wake up, suburbia. Here comes Dick Daley, just like Hitler through Europe.

On a bright note, rent vouchers and eviction notices are going out to residents of 1230 N Larrabee, That building is coming down this year, I hear 1230 N Burling is also coming down. The last two high rises at Cabrini-Green. I also hear the Oak St. buildings are being vacated.

A failed exercise in public housing that instead created many tens of thousands of people who know nothing but being on the 'guvment dole and are unable to take care of themselves without that monthly check, LINK card, SNAP card, Medicaid card etc.

Good riddance and may the wrecking ball swing soon. 660 W Division also came down in a heap these past weeks. This means the end of CHA Special Employment is also within sight. It is down to 6 or 8 PO's and one Sgt. per shift.

Too bad the "G" isn't as anxious about digging up the skeletons in daley's closet as daley is about disturbing the dead interred in sacred ground.

Daley will be amongst the dead Dems soon enough. He can't f*ck us over forever.

And once he gets to the other side, there is likely to be a bunch of pissed off spirits just waiting for his arrival so they can kick his evil ass right to hell!

Speaking of HELL:

The stuttering prick dies and goes to Heaven where St Peter meets him at the Pearly Gates and says, "What! Are you CUCKOO? You're not getting in here! You're going straight to HELL!"

With this, the prick produces his "Get Out of Jail Free" card that Old Tommie Byrne had given him. St Peter won't accept it and sends him DOWN to The Devil!

Now the stuttering prick is greeted at the Gates of Hell by Lucifer, himself who says "We have something special lined up for you!"

He is escorted to a door that is marked "Tea Room". Inside he sees everyone is standing neck deep in a vile, stinking, stench of sewer scum and shit. There was his dad and a whole host of other scumbag politicians and members of his crime family. Everyone is drinking tea.

The stuttering prick says, "This may not be so bad! I love tea, and I can get used to the smell". The HUGE Gargoyle at the door just snickered and handed him his tea, and threw him out into the steaming stench.

After about 5 minutes of sipping his Earl Grey, and just when he was done wretching his guts out from the smell, the HUGE Gargoyle stepped back into the room and screamed at them, "Alright, you assholes! Break time is over! Everyone GET BACK ON YOUR HEAD ! ! !

Having family buried in St. Johannes I am less than amused by the city's shennanigans. Especially for an useless project. The courts got this one right, stop it now.

Even though there is no need for new runways. Daley has to go on. Besides the inner circle who need their dough, how would he explain it to Bensenville, "oops, here's your town back we don't need it afterall."

I wouldn't mess with the dead, especially when it comes to moving their graves. Wake the fuck up people, we have become too scientific and agnostic for our own good, better start thinking about what comes after this life before it's too late.

To 12.12pm,,,,,if the towns around O'Hare didn't fuck around for the past 30 years, this project would have been done 20 years ago at a much lower price and impact.

That cemetary should have been moved in the late 50s when the airport went in.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

As A P.O. assigned to the Airport I spoke with family members on both sides of the fracas. Most want it all to end with some sort of dignity in the removal and reburial of their loved ones. The holdouts, cynical as I maybe, I think, want the City to up the Ante.

to 7:04pm from 10:40pm....."The Needs of the Many....." is from "A Tale Of Two Cities" a story about the French Revolution. So I would assume that Marx and Engels read Dickens and copped his idea.

That quote was Robespierre's mantra as he, as leader of the Committee of Public Safety during the Reign of Terror, condemmed hundreds to die by losing their heads (literally) during the creation of the First Republic.

That was until Robespierre lost his head in 1793 for not being radical enough.

Those whacky Frenchies!!!!!

I knew the damn class on European History in college would finally come in handy!!
