Merry Christmas

Once again, Merry Christmas to you and yours from all of us here.

If you're working today, be careful and be sure to get home in one piece. If you're off, enjoy the day and remember the times you used to be away from everything that's truly important.

Minimal posting today.

May we all have a safe and healthy holiday weekend.

We do what we do, but remember there are inadvertent violators. I have found on days like these that they really appreciated a smile and "please try to be more careful" when I didn't write them.

So much for stats, but the message got across. Free Bill Cozzi.

May God Bless the Chicago Police Officers. May God vindicate those who have been done wrong by the opportunists of this city. (The Loevys and mut gang bangers and dope dealers.)
May God bring enlightenment upon those who investigate our own and show them that they have been manipulated by the above mentioned.
May God give strength to those who litigate for the city so they could put an end to easy money payments to just anyone who files a suit against the city.
TRANSLATION: Let the coppers who have been screwed over by bad investigations pushed thru by the likes of Loevys, Peoples Law Office , etc, get the support and backing they deserve. And corp counsel should have a pre-printed form with a middle finger depicted and sent to those very same scum attorneys causing all of this!

I want to wish ALL the Police out there a Very Merry Christmas. Being the Police, we love to bicker and nitpick, but put our differences aside as to what district is busier than which, which area sucks, our Police department is better than yours. Being the Police in this day and age is hard whether your working for our half-assed department or a tiny downstate town. So a Merry Christmas to all, and may you and your families have a great Christmas and a happy, healthy new year.
Be there for each other and BACK EACH OTHER UP!
May GOD watch over ALL the Police!

Condo murder in 025--

http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2009/12/homicide-probe-underway-on-near-nw-side.html

"...29-year-old unionized electrician discovered by a friend apparently beaten to death in his unit Wednesday night...An autopsy conducted today determined that De Filippis died of multiple blunt force injuries and multiple stab wounds and ruled his death a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

De Filippis' body was discovered in his condo unit in the 7000 block of West Grand Avenue, in the city's Montclare neighborhood, about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
De Filippis-Bernstein said..."This doesn't happen [where he lives]."

Oh yes it does. Not a nice area. Grand is a wasteland at night, and the side streets are packed with s**t, five-illegal-families-in-a-house. The use of turn signals is unknown in this area, let alone anything like law and order.

Hell, someone was shot to death in a van at Grand and Harlem, in back of the Reiter's bakery, a few years ago. Drug deal gone bad, I think.

This "urban pioneer" stuff, living in half-empty condo buildings, isn't necessarily safe. That place has been mostly dark in there for years now, units unsalable, and some tacky "Broad Shoulders Management" occupying the ground floor. There are loads of places like this today.

More condo projects failing at Grand/Harlem --I think they're just taking the old buildings down to avoid paying any more taxes on them.

SCC,

You most of all I want to Wish a Merry Christmas. Without you we would have only the bullshit that was fed to us by the city and the department. I am rookie right off of probation and I hope for days in the past when police were allowed to be police. I come from a family of blue shirts, and I always hear stories about how it used to be. I think for too long this department and city hasn't had checks or balances. You provide that to us. God Bless you and your family. Someday I hope to truly be a policeman and not just a cog in the machine.

Merry Christmas to all.

Stay safe and Fuck the Savages protect yourself and fellow officer's.

For those of you working today and tonight, be safe. For the younger officers, working holidays can be depressing and boring, but teach humility and grace. It's on days like this that you become the "Real Police". This is something our current Supt can 't possibly fathom . Please treat people on this most holy day with respect, dignity and with kindness, don't lower yourself to his level.

Stay safe out there everyone. Hug your family members or those close to you today. And please, for those that are depressed, remember there are those out here that care about you, maybe someone you barely know who wheres a blue shirt in a district next to the one you work in. We love all our brothers and sisters in blue and we need everyone of you.

If you see a fellow brother or sister who is in trouble, PLEASE DO SOMETHING. Talk to them,. call father Nangel. This is a difficult time of year for many of us.

Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy and Prosperous New Year

Just had a thought: If U S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald had done what he should have and indicted Roland Burris along with Blago... there would probably have been a Special Election for Senator... there probably would have been a Republican elected...

Then the monster of a so called Health Care Reform would have failed in the Senate by one vote...and we might avoid losing our health insurance for Obamacare and all the ENORMOUS TAXES that will go into effect after the next election...

Look at what Canadians and Brits pay in taxes and what they get...We are in for all kinds of new taxes...

Thank-you Democrats, Thank-you Roland, Durbin and Berry...and Blago...and Richie... as far as this Health Care package goes all I can say is YOU FIRST!

Stay safe, register everyone you can, if you retire, keep your Chicago address and vote these bastards out!

I worked with this miserable creature at Wright Jr. College. I worked the front desk as a security guard. She was always miserable. She would tell us about how stressful her job was, she was chasing people, etc...

So one day I just fucking told her to stop fucking whining and be happy she has a good paying secure job with excellent benefits. She thought she was a tough ass so she tried to do a wrist lock and arm lock on me. I got pissed and threw her to the ground. Hey baby, that shit they teach you in the academy won't work if your opponent knows a little bit of hap ki do. She then tried to get me arrested for agg bat to p.o. Other witnesses were there and they all talked her out of it.

So based upon the above post, I guess Lt. A.S. hasn't changed a bit. She was rude and liked to intimidate people back at Wright Jr. College and she likes to do it today. Remember A.S. what goes around comes around.

How many of you remembered P.O. Densey Cole this Christmas? Was it a prayer, a visit, a phone call, a letter? Remind those who are currently with him that he will always belong to those of us who lived, worked & laughed with him for many years. A great dis-service is being done by keeping kind spirited people from him. So do like I did, keep on trying & eventually you will be glad you did when you see the smile you put on his face showing that he has not been forgotten. God bless us all.
